Lausanne can be considered as the informal gay capital of Switzerland. The city is smaller than Zurich or Geneva, by the concentration of the LGBT population is much higher.

The gay scene concentrates in the Avenue de Tivoli. It offers dozens of gay bars, clubs and even a huge sauna, as Pink Beach is the biggest one in Switzerland.

Tivoli can get very lively on Friday and Saturday nights with a very international crowd, as many expats are living in Lausanne.
